Atma aka Adam S.

Adam showed an aptitude for understanding musical theory at a young age. Having been influenced by an interest in various musical instruments, his dads music collection, and oldschool video game soundtracks, he was set up for music production later on in his life. Adam enjoyed early electronica, and the underground culture that was to become the rave/drum and bass scene.

Style
When wielding the wheels of steel. Adam plays a variety of Dnb and Jungle. "I enjoy smooth synth lines and heavy bangin Dillinja bass. I usually go for the more atmospheric dnb, and absolutely love a well placed rhodes piano or vibraphone. Its all about the balance between that ear sound pleasing melody, and that crunchy, raging, explosive b-line."

Production
"l have a healthy obsession with Amen editing, and really love that warm analogue sound." Now with the equipment for greater musical achievement and a new home base in Vancouver, Adam looks forward to future collaborations. I'm seeking like-minded producers and musicians to bring originality and creativity into the studio."

The Future
Now having expanded the operation to Vancouver, Atma has brought Chainsaw to the mainland, so keep your ears to the ground for the latest in his dubs, mixes, & shows.
